In 2014, I was thinking where to go for a short visit in the summer without really getting away far from the city of Toronto.  But, was really in a debate whether a natural wonder can be seen around the city. Heck, not of a lot if there really is one hanging around. The first sight-seeing trip I can think of is always Niagara Falls, I'm sure a lot of people do but, when you've been living in Toronto for quite some time, and choose the 'stay-cation' mode, it is the only place you run into easily. We took a pass of Niagara Falls. With the help of social media, every information nowadays becomes so handy in a swipe. So, I came across the Cheltenham Badlands of Caledonia, Ontario. About 40 minutes away, north of Toronto. This small formation of red rocks was once a river that dried up thousands of years ago. This one's just a baby trail compared to Red Rock Canyon, Alberta, and of course the Grand Canyon, Nevada. I'm quite glad knowing that we didn't nee...

I'm baaaaaack!!

Wow, ages ago since I posted here! Been busy with the day to day dealings of life and whatnots for the last five years.  Big and small changes had occur. And in general, I can't complain. LIFE is GOOD.  Life really is a box of chocolate, you'll never know what you're gonna get, as I am taking on a new adventure in life in 2015!  Yes, it sounded as a cliché (New Year, new beginning) but coincidentally, I am taking on a different route in life. Looking back from what I've done, I didn't know I was actually an entrepren eur at that time. Honestly, right now from where I stand, I am proud of my first-grader self! I love arts! I have been a creative person ever since my dad handed me the glue and scissors when I wa...

What had been transpired me to do the blog recently was my visit to Philippines. Since then, I confessed that I developed a newly ignited passion for travel; and that passion has been firing up my feet in the early days of February. I still have a long way back then to contemplate on where to go. But still, the idea of a few days off excite my senses from day one. I was browsing my phonebook and hoping to engage some potential dormant traveller that was once sleeping who might be interested to take part in the journey of feeding my blog. I was even more eager to befriend a friend’s friend who shares the same interest to globetrot within our means, mainly to cut the hotel bill in half, instantly! Hehehe. Though I was really hoping nobody would say yes, as I was more than happy to take a leap of faith travelling solo. Until my excitement held to a more exciting phase of my anticipated plan, I will go alone! Skimming through the travel section of the public library, I pinned down my x-mar...
