Cheltenham Badlands Canada

In 2014, I was thinking where to go for a short visit in the summer without really getting away far from the city of Toronto.  But, was really in a debate whether a natural wonder can be seen around the city. Heck, not of a lot if there really is one hanging around. The first sight-seeing trip I can think of is always Niagara Falls, I'm sure a lot of people do but, when you've been living in Toronto for quite some time, and choose the 'stay-cation' mode, it is the only place you run into easily. We took a pass of Niagara Falls. With the help of social media, every information nowadays becomes so handy in a swipe. So, I came across the Cheltenham Badlands of Caledonia, Ontario. About 40 minutes away, north of Toronto. This small formation of red rocks was once a river that dried up thousands of years ago. This one's just a baby trail compared to Red Rock Canyon, Alberta, and of course the Grand Canyon, Nevada. I'm quite glad knowing that we didn't nee
